IAAPA Expo Orlando 2026 – Complete Exhibitor Guide and How to Build a Trade Show Booth That Stops the Attractions Industry in Its Tracks
If your company supplies products, technology, rides, equipment, or services to the amusement park, water park, family entertainment, or attractions industry and you are planning to exhibit at IAAPA Expo 2026 in Orlando, this is the most complete guide you will find before the show. We have covered everything — the dates, both venue buildings and how to navigate them, the full trade show floor schedule, registration hours and badge policies, transportation and shuttle hotels, on-site services, the education program, food and dining, safety, and most importantly, how to make sure your exhibit booth is designed and built to command attention on one of the most visually exciting and experiential show floors in the entire trade event world.
At Interior Today LLC, we are a full-service trade show booth design and build company serving exhibitors at major industry events across the United States. IAAPA Expo is one of the most immersive, high-energy, and visually spectacular trade shows on the annual calendar — a show where the audience expects to be amazed before they even reach your booth. We want to help your company show up at the Orange County Convention Center in November 2026 with a booth that genuinely earns its place on that floor.
What Is IAAPA Expo 2026?
IAAPA Expo is the world’s largest trade show and conference for the global attractions industry, hosted annually by IAAPA — the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions. It is the premier gathering point for the entire amusement and attractions ecosystem, bringing together buyers, operators, manufacturers, suppliers, and innovators from amusement parks, water parks, family entertainment centers, zoos, aquariums, museums, resorts, and attractions of every type and size from across the globe.
For companies that supply products, services, rides, technology, food service equipment, safety systems, themed environments, and any other solution to the attractions industry, IAAPA Expo is the most important event of the year — and in many cases, the most important event of the decade. The conversations that happen on this show floor, the relationships built in this venue, and the deals initiated during IAAPA Expo week define the direction of the attractions industry for the seasons ahead.
The 2026 edition introduces a significant expansion — IAAPA Expo is growing into the West Building of the Orange County Convention Center for the first time, creating a larger, more intentional layout with improved product category alignment, more exhibitor space, and a richer overall experience for the tens of thousands of attractions industry professionals who attend from every corner of the world.
IAAPA Expo 2026 Dates and Location
IAAPA Expo 2026 will take place November 16 through November 20, 2026, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
The show floor will be open across four days with the following hours:
| Date | Hours |
| Tuesday, November 17 | 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM |
| Wednesday, November 18 | 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM |
| Thursday, November 19 | 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM |
| Friday, November 20 | 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM |
The event takes place across two buildings — the South Building and the West Building — both of which are fully active during all show days and hours. This is a significant change from previous years, and understanding the two-building layout is important for both your booth planning and your team’s navigation during the show week.
The South Concourse entrance is located at 9400 Universal Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32819. The West Concourse entrance is at 9800 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819.
The Two-Building Layout — What Exhibitors Need to Know for 2026
IAAPA Expo 2026 is expanding into the West Building of the Orange County Convention Center, and this expansion is not just about adding square footage. It represents a deliberate and strategic restructuring of the show floor to deliver a better experience for both exhibitors and buyers — with product categories aligned more intentionally across the two buildings, improving product discovery and making it easier for the right buyers to find the right exhibitors.
Both buildings will be fully open and active on all show days. Whether you are in the South Building or the West Building, you will have access to the full energy and traffic of IAAPA Expo throughout all four days of the show.
Getting between buildings is straightforward. If you prefer to walk, the route follows a designated pedestrian sidewalk running parallel to Convention Way and the West Concourse, with marked crosswalks. There is also a covered pedestrian bridge connecting the South and West Buildings. If walking is not convenient, IAAPA will operate shuttle buses continuously between the South and West Buildings throughout the expo — a trip of approximately ten minutes.
For exhibitors planning their booth location, the building assignment you receive will determine which specific buyer community is most concentrated in your area. EDUSessions are distributed across both buildings with content aligned to the exhibitor pavilions in each building — which means education-driven foot traffic will flow in and around the exhibitor areas relevant to each session topic. This is a meaningful advantage for exhibitors whose products align with the education programming.
Registration Hours and Badge Information
Managing your badge and your team’s registration correctly is essential for a smooth IAAPA Expo week. Here is the full registration schedule across both locations:
An IAAPA Expo name badge is required for admission to all expo activities, events, and services — including the trade show floor, shuttle buses, and the Opening Ceremony. Badges must be worn at all times while inside the OCCC and while participating in any expo events. IAAPA members receive free admission to the Education Conference with their badge. Non-members must pay a separate fee to access the Education Conference program.
All attendees must present a picture ID to collect their badge or any purchased tickets on-site. Students and faculty must provide a current student or faculty ID from a degree-granting university or college.
If you lose your badge, replacement costs $100. If the lost badge is later found, you may submit it with a letter requesting a refund to IAAPA for case-by-case evaluation.
For children attending — admittance for anyone 17 years of age and younger is complimentary, but they must wear an identification wristband available at on-site registration. Anyone 18 or older must pay the full registration fee. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times and are not permitted on the trade show floor during move-in or move-out hours or early and late access periods.
The Opening Ceremony and Key Event Locations
The IAAPA Expo 2026 Opening Ceremony will take place in the Chapin Theater in the West Building. This is the formal kickoff to the show and sets the tone for the week — attending as an exhibitor is a worthwhile way to connect with the broader IAAPA community before the trade show floor opens.
The Leadership Breakfast and the Women in the Industry Lunch will both be held in the IAAPA Theater on Level 3 of the South Building.
The IAAPA LEGENDS event will also be held in the IAAPA Theater on Level 3 of the South Building.
The IAAPA Connect+ Support Desk is located in South Hall A near the escalators and provides assistance throughout the show: Tuesday, November 17 — 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Wednesday, November 18 — 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Thursday, November 19 — 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Friday, November 20 — 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Discounted tickets to Orlando-area attractions can also be purchased through Visit Orlando at their designated booth.
Orlando in mid to late November is one of the best times of year to experience the city — comfortable weather, the beginning of the holiday season, and the extraordinary concentration of theme park and attraction activity that makes this city the world capital of the attractions industry. The surroundings of IAAPA Expo genuinely amplify the character of the event.
The Education Program — EDUSessions and Events
IAAPA Expo 2026 features a comprehensive education program with EDUSessions distributed across both the South and West Buildings, with content aligned to the exhibitor pavilions in each building. This means that the education programming is not separated from the trade show experience — it is woven into it, with sessions flowing naturally into the product categories and exhibit areas most relevant to each topic.
The Opening Ceremony takes place in the Chapin Theater in the West Building and marks the formal start of the IAAPA Expo week.
The Leadership Breakfast and the Women in the Industry Lunch are held in the IAAPA Theater on Level 3 of the South Building.
EDUTours and ticketed events that are not sold out can be purchased at on-site Registration in both the South and West Concourses. All breakfasts, lunches, and receptions are ticketed events with a separate registration fee and limited capacity. No one under the age of 18 may participate in EDUTours or special events including the IAAPA Celebrates event.
Tickets are tied directly to your badge — there are no printed tickets. Each registrant may only purchase one ticket per event, and tickets are non-refundable. If you need to transfer a ticket to another registrant, contact Registration.
Regarding accessibility for the education program — IAAPA members receive free admission to the Education Conference. Non-members must pay a separate fee. If you require any accommodation or service to fully participate in IAAPA Expo, contact Registration@IAAPA.org at least 14 days prior to the expo.
Why Your Booth Design Is Everything at IAAPA Expo
Here is something that every experienced IAAPA Expo exhibitor understands — and that first-time exhibitors often discover through the experience of being overshadowed by their neighbors: IAAPA Expo is not a trade show where a standard table-and-banner booth competes. This is a show where full-scale ride vehicles, operational water slides, complete themed environments, interactive simulation experiences, and life-size recreational equipment are exhibited as working demonstrations.
The attendees who walk the IAAPA Expo floor are attractions operators and buyers who spend their professional lives creating extraordinary experiences for consumers. Their standards for visual quality, immersive design, and experiential impact are some of the highest of any trade show audience in the world. When they walk past your booth, they are evaluating your company’s creativity, your understanding of the guest experience, and your investment in your own brand — not just your product specifications.
An exhibit booth at IAAPA Expo that is visually generic, underfunded, or static tells this audience something important about your company before you say a word. It suggests that your company does not deeply understand the experiential standards of the industry it is trying to serve.
On the other hand, a booth that is designed with imagination, built with quality, and activated with energy — that invites people in rather than presenting from a distance — positions your company as one that genuinely belongs among the world’s most innovative attractions suppliers. It becomes part of the show floor experience itself rather than just a display space within it.
With IAAPA Expo 2026 expanding into the West Building and introducing a new, more intentional product category layout, the opportunity to stand out within your specific pavilion area is greater than ever. Buyers navigating a better-organized show floor are more targeted in their discovery — which means the quality of your exhibit presence matters even more.
How Interior Today LLC Builds Booths for IAAPA Expo
At Interior Today LLC, we have built exhibit booths for companies in the entertainment, technology, outdoor recreation, and experiential industries, and we understand the unique demands of the IAAPA Expo floor. This is not a show where standard corporate trade show design language resonates. The attractions industry responds to creativity, energy, and experience — and your booth needs to reflect all three.
Here is exactly how we work with IAAPA Expo exhibitors from first conversation through show day in Orlando.
We begin with a deep brand and product consultation. We learn about what your company provides to the attractions industry — whether that is rides and equipment, themed environment design, food service solutions, software and technology, safety systems, or any other category — and we discuss the specific buyer audience within the IAAPA Expo pavilion structure that you most need to reach. We also talk about what experience you want visitors to have in your space — not just what you want to show them, but what you want them to feel.
We develop a fully custom booth concept designed for your specific space at the Orange County Convention Center. For IAAPA Expo exhibitors, this often means designing a space that balances product demonstration capability with an inviting, visually distinctive brand environment — a booth that draws attendees in from across the aisle while also functioning as an effective demonstration and conversation space once they arrive.
We fabricate your booth in-house using high-quality materials built to perform through four full days of the show. At IAAPA Expo, where the show floor is genuinely inspiring, your booth materials need to look as good on Friday as they did on Tuesday morning.
Our team manages complete installation at the Orange County Convention Center, handling all logistics and venue coordination across both the South and West Building footprints.
We design and produce all your booth graphics — brand backdrops, product display panels, overhead signage, and any other branded elements — all produced in-house to convention hall scale and designed to communicate powerfully in IAAPA Expo’s high-energy floor environment.
After the show closes on Friday, November 20, our team handles complete dismantle and outbound logistics so your team can leave Orlando focused on the relationships and leads generated during the show week.
Practical Tips for Getting the Best Results at IAAPA Expo 2026
A professionally designed and built booth creates the foundation for a great show. Here are the additional strategies that experienced IAAPA Expo exhibitors use to maximize their results.
Plan your booth location with the new two-building layout in mind. In 2026, product categories are being aligned more intentionally across the South and West Buildings. Understanding which building your pavilion is in and how buyer traffic is expected to flow between buildings should inform how you design your booth’s visibility strategy — particularly if your space is in the West Building, which many attendees will be navigating for the first time.
Design for demonstration. IAAPA Expo buyers want to see, touch, and experience products wherever possible. If your product or technology can be demonstrated in any way, build that demonstration into your booth design from day one rather than treating it as an afterthought.
Make your booth a destination, not just a stop. The most successful IAAPA Expo exhibitors create booths that give attendees a reason to come to their space beyond just looking at products. Whether that is an interactive element, a product experience station, a comfortable seating area for conversations, or a creative themed environment that reflects their brand identity, creating a genuine destination draws traffic throughout all four days of the show.
Engage with the education programming. The EDUSessions at IAAPA Expo are not just educational content — they are conversations happening between your potential buyers about the exact challenges and opportunities your products address. Attending the sessions relevant to your product category gives you direct insight into buyer priorities and talking points that will make every booth conversation more productive.
Use the IAAPA Connect+ Support Desk proactively. The Connect+ desk in South Hall A exists to help exhibitors make the most of their Expo experience. If you need to connect with specific buyer types or navigate the show floor resources available to you, this is where to go.
Follow up within 48 hours of the show closing. The attractions industry buyers who attended IAAPA Expo go back to properties and organizations that operate year-round with demanding schedules. A prompt, specific, and genuinely personalized follow-up while the conversations from Orlando are still fresh is the difference between a trade show contact and an actual business relationship.
