GDC 2027 San Francisco Exhibit Booth Builder — Interior Today LLC | Custom Game Developer Conference Trade Show Stands Moscone Center
The Game Developer Conference — known worldwide as GDC — is the largest and most influential professional event in the global video games industry. Now in its 39th year, GDC 2027 takes place March 1–5, 2027, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California, under the evolved identity of the GDC Festival of Gaming.
GDC began in 1988 as a small peer-to-peer meetup of game developers, literally in someone’s living room. Built on curiosity, candor, and shared problem-solving, those early gatherings grew into the definitive annual gathering for professionals who build interactive entertainment — adding landmark programs like the Independent Games Festival (IGF) and the Game Developers Choice Awards (GDCA) along the way.
Today, GDC Festival of Gaming is a five-day, city-wide celebration of the entire game-making ecosystem. It is where the conversations that fund studios happen. Where partnerships that launch platforms are formed. Where handshakes turn demos into shipped games. Where game developers, publishers, platform holders, investors, tool providers, service companies, technology vendors, marketers, audio professionals, QA specialists, and every other professional who makes games happen — gather in one place, at one time, for one focused week of learning, connecting, and doing business.
For companies selling technology, tools, services, platforms, or solutions to the games industry, GDC 2027 is the single most important commercial opportunity of the year. Your exhibition stand or Business Hall presence at GDC is your brand’s live headquarters at the world’s most important game industry event.

The Business Hall — GDC’s Dedicated Deal-Making Hub

What makes the Business Hall different from the Festival Hall: The Festival Hall is the showcase floor — demos, reveals, branded activations, and consumer-facing content. The Business Hall is where studios get funded, where publishing deals get signed, where platform integrations get agreed to, and where technology vendors close enterprise contracts with major game companies. If your company sells to games industry professionals, the Business Hall is where your booth lives.
As GDC describes it: “Stop chasing meetings across San Francisco. Plan your week around the people you need to meet, not the logistics of getting to them. The Business Hall is your command center for GDC week.”

Why Your GDC 2027 Business Hall Booth Design Is Your Most Important Gaming Industry Investment
GDC Festival of Gaming 2027 is five days. The Business Hall at Moscone West is open every single one of those days. The people walking through it — studio heads, publishing partners, platform technology buyers, investor representatives, game technology procurement leads, and developer relations professionals — are the most commercially qualified audience the games industry assembles anywhere in the world each year.
These are people who make game industry investments for a living. They evaluate pitches, review platforms, compare technology stacks, and make partnership decisions — often in the span of a single 30-minute meeting. When they walk through the Business Hall and see your stand, they are applying that same evaluative lens to your company in real time.
The game industry is culturally attuned to design, brand identity, and aesthetic quality in a way that very few other sectors match. Game developers and their business partners spend their careers building visually compelling, emotionally resonant worlds. When those professionals walk through the Business Hall, they notice when a booth’s design is sharp, intentional, and well-executed — and they notice when it is not. A professionally designed, well-built GDC booth communicates that your company takes its relationship with the games industry as seriously as the industry takes game design itself.
There is also a structural dynamic at GDC that makes booth design especially valuable. For nearly four decades, GDC has been described as the place where the most important deals in games happen — not in formal meeting rooms, but in impromptu conversations sparked by what someone sees in the Business Hall. A well-designed stand pulls people in for unscheduled conversations that become the most valuable business interactions of the week. A generic or underdeveloped stand gets noted, forgotten, and walked past by the same decision-makers you flew to San Francisco to meet.
GDC 2027 is the 39th Annual Conference. The companies that show up at Moscone with a consistent, professional, well-crafted exhibit presence build cumulative brand recognition with the same returning audience year after year. Studios, publishers, and platform teams who attend GDC every February remember the brands that invested in a serious GDC presence — and they associate that investment with the seriousness of the company’s commitment to the games industry.

How early should I contact Interior Today LLC about my GDC 2027 booth?
As early as possible. GDC 2027 opens March 1 but the best custom Business Hall stands require several months of design, fabrication, and logistics lead time. Contact Interior Today LLC well in advance to secure your preferred design concept and ensure a smooth Moscone move-in.
Does Interior Today LLC handle full booth teardown after GDC 2027?
Yes. Our full-service package includes complete dismantling and removal of your stand after GDC Festival of Gaming closes on March 5, 2027. Your team leaves San Francisco — we handle everything after.
What type of booth works best in the GDC Business Hall?
The most effective GDC Business Hall booths combine high-visibility brand signage, live technology demonstration stations with properly sized gaming monitors, a semi-private meeting zone for publisher and investor conversations, comfortable lounge seating, and brand graphics that tell a clear company story from across the hall. Interior Today LLC specializes in exactly this type of game industry exhibition stand design.
