AAOS 2027

AAOS 2027 Annual Meeting Exhibit Booth Builder — Interior Today LLC | Custom Orthopaedic Trade Show Stands Las Vegas

The AAOS Annual Meeting — organized by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons — is the world’s most important professional gathering for orthopaedic surgery and musculoskeletal medicine. Each year, thousands of orthopaedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, orthopaedic residents, allied health professionals, and industry partners come together for world-class surgical education, peer networking, clinical research presentations, and direct access to the latest orthopaedic technology, devices, and innovations through the AAOS Exhibit Hall.

AAOS 2027 takes place Wednesday, March 3 through Saturday, March 6, 2027, at the Venetian Convention and Expo Center in Las Vegas, Nevada — with the Exhibit Hall open Wednesday through Friday, March 3–5, 2027.

The 2027 edition has been significantly redesigned based on direct attendee feedback — a shorter, more focused meeting structure, ICLs included with registration at no extra cost, a practice-friendly Wednesday start, and more dedicated break times built into the education schedule to maximize exhibit hall access for every surgeon and specialist attending.

For orthopaedic medical device companies, surgical robotics firms, implant manufacturers, digital health technology providers, surgical instrumentation companies, biologics firms, imaging technology vendors, and every other category of business serving the orthopaedic and musculoskeletal market, AAOS 2027 is the single most commercially important trade show event of the year.

Your exhibition stand at AAOS 2027 is your company’s professional home base at that event. At Interior Today LLC, we design and build custom orthopaedic medical device and surgical technology trade show booths for companies exhibiting at the AAOS Annual Meeting in Las Vegas. We handle everything from first design concept through final teardown at the Venetian Convention and Expo Center.

Strategic note for exhibitors: AAOS 2027 has been redesigned with more dedicated break times built directly into the education schedule. These are not accidental gaps — they are intentional, structured windows where orthopaedic surgeons are specifically directed toward the Exhibit Hall. Your booth must be fully staffed and exhibit-ready during every one of these windows, especially the morning 9:00–10:30 a.m. slot which opens each day.

What Is New at AAOS 2027 Annual Meeting?

AAOS made four meaningful changes to the 2027 Annual Meeting structure based on direct attendee feedback. Every exhibiting company should understand these changes and how they affect the exhibit hall dynamic.

Change What Changed Impact on Exhibitors
ICLs Included With Registration Instructional Course Lectures no longer require a separate purchase — included with all registrations Removes a cost barrier that previously limited attendance — more surgeons can now attend, increasing exhibit floor traffic
Shorter Sessions (1-Hour ICLs) Streamlined one-hour format eliminates scheduling overlap More surgeons can attend more sessions — and more dedicated time flows into the Exhibit Hall between sessions
Focused Three-to-Four Day Meeting Streamlined meeting structure delivers more impact in less time Higher quality attendee focus throughout the meeting — more deliberate exhibit floor visits
Wednesday Start Date Meeting opens Wednesday instead of traditional Tuesday or Monday Aligns with clinical schedules — surgeons can complete OR commitments before traveling to Las Vegas, increasing total attendance
OrthoLive Moves into the Hall OrthoLive programming now located inside the Exhibit Hall Creates additional reason for surgeons to spend time in the exhibit hall beyond product evaluation
New: Investment Forum Brand new industry session format launching at AAOS 2027 Companies seeking investor and strategic partner conversations now have a dedicated forum format

Why Your AAOS 2027 Exhibit Booth Design Is Your Most Important Orthopaedic Industry Investment

AAOS 2027 brings orthopaedic surgeons and surgical technology decision-makers to the Venetian Convention and Expo Center in Las Vegas for three full days of exhibit hall access. These are not general healthcare attendees. They are the surgeons, residents, sports medicine physicians, joint replacement specialists, and spine surgeons who use your products in the operating room — and the hospital procurement managers who sign the purchase orders that put those products there.

They walk the AAOS Exhibit Hall with purpose. With more structured break times built into the 2027 schedule, AAOS has created deliberate, high-quality windows of exhibit floor access throughout each day. During these windows, orthopaedic professionals are specifically directed toward the floor — to evaluate technology, compare devices side by side, speak directly with product experts, and explore tools that support better clinical outcomes.

The decisions being made during those windows are serious ones. Medical device adoption in the orthopaedic space involves clinical evaluation, clinical evidence review, instrument training considerations, hospital formulary inclusion, and procurement budget approval. That process begins with a conversation at your exhibit stand — and that conversation begins with what a surgeon sees when they approach your booth.

In a hall where every major orthopaedic medical device company, surgical robotics firm, implant manufacturer, and digital health vendor is competing for the attention of the same pool of surgeons, your booth design is your most visible differentiator. A well-designed stand communicates clinical precision, technical credibility, and investment in the relationship with the surgical community before your product specialist says a single word.

The AAOS audience is also experienced. Orthopaedic surgeons who attend the Annual Meeting regularly have been walking the exhibit hall for years. They recognize the difference between a company that has invested seriously in its AAOS presence and one that has not. They associate the quality of your exhibit presentation with the quality of your clinical support, your product reliability, and your company’s long-term commitment to the orthopaedic space.

AAOS 2027 also introduces the Investment Forum — a new format for deal-focused conversations. Companies seeking investor attention or strategic partnership conversations now have a dedicated session format. Your exhibit stand should visually reinforce the authority your team brings to those conversations — a well-designed booth is a credibility signal that extends beyond the floor into every meeting room in Las Vegas during meeting week.

Thousands of orthopaedic surgeons, residents, sports medicine physicians, and hospital procurement managers walking the Venetian Convention and Expo Center floor in Las Vegas during structured education breaks, Happy Hour, and OrthoQuest.

These are the surgeons who use your products in the operating room and the procurement leaders who put your devices on hospital formularies. They are at AAOS 2027 to evaluate technology, compare devices, and make decisions — and the stand they stop at first is the one that looks like the company is serious about orthopaedic surgery.

Interior Today LLC builds custom orthopaedic medical device and surgical technology trade show booths for implant manufacturers, robotics firms, biologics companies, digital health vendors, and every other category of company that understands what is at stake at AAOS.
